Last nite we had a local club race. I thought i had my car ready. Well, i was wrong, i had carb issues. Not tuning, but the darn thing kept jumpin out. I could get it tight, then after bout two minutes on the stand even, it would jump loose. I could reset, retighten, and same thing. Clamp was good, dunno wth??? NE HELP?!

its a Dynamite 427 in the RTR Losi Eight T. The carb just raises a little, but its enuff to create vacuum leak. Had it run away twice last nite.

i could still drive the car, it was just like it was wide open, air leak, just like opening the throttle, ne way, i could steer it, but you know how hard it is to steer the car at WOT. Plus as the carb is lose, and twistin back and forth it gives and takes throttle, just a goof ball incident.

Yea, there is a pinch mark on the carb, im thinkin i can file some material off where the two pieces meet, and get a little more squeeze out of it??

RTV is not fuel proof.....there are alternative's....My favorite is Three bond 1211...its expensive....but worth every penny....second would be Racer's Edge Carb sealant....Cheep and effective....third would be Lucky 7 sealant...its real liquidy and works pretty darn good....but for you Moto...u need either of the first 2.
