Best Electric Radio Set Right Now . . .
If money were no object what would be the best 3 ch radio set for on road carpet/asphalt racing?

For me, I like the ergonomics of my KO Helios EX-10 with the drop down and angled steering wheel option.
Would certainly consider the new Spektrum radio though. Feels great; but, I would miss the angled steering wheel feature of the above.

Thanks for refreshing my memory, "KO Propo" seems to be a big player these days . . .

The KO Helios basic radio (no transmitter/receiver) is something like $199. The Spektrum Pro transmitter/receiver should be about $179.
NorCal Hobbies/Track is on Union City Blvd. in Union City. Has 3 tracks to play on...carpet, asphalt and off-road.

Great easy to understand menus and unbeliveable ergonomics.

Just stepped from a KO EX-10 to the new Spektrum DX3R. Wheel position is almost identical to the KO, uses only 4 AA batteries, will run up to 8hrs on those 4 batts. Only thing I wish it had was backlight, but the screen is green and can be seen even in the dimest of light. So far I'm liking the response times, Didnt realize how much faster this thing is over my old radio, till I ran it at the track and was turning in too soon on all the corners. Now I'm use to it and it works like a charm.
