you guys are really missing out on this piston/sleeve renewing
even when the engine has no compression, brings it back perfect and there is guys running them for approachine one year now, team drivers in all classes and running .21, .15, .12's and having great results, with more power, it is really becoming better than you could expect>> jb

how often can you do this to the same piston/sleeve set?
Only once, or maybe even a second time?

I just found out that a new set for my X12 5 port costs about 100 bucks

i have not had to do any a second time yet but being that it really doesn't change the outside diameter of the sleeve you should be able to do it again, btw, and it is alot cheaper to do 2 or 3 of them at one time> the guys in germany at keim race track love them they have seen that they will make a RBS7 keep up with all there modified stuff after brian norris from calif. went over and got 4th place at one of there huge tracks, and they could not believe the power the S7 was putting out with a 14 tooth clutch bell> jb

The RB X12 you did for me became the nightmare of all the high dollar tuned engines at our track, that's why I'm considering to have it redone once it'll be worn out again. No signs of that yet though :-)

I would think that you could keep resizing until the sleeve is worn too thin.

If you would allow me. I can answer that for you.
Although I do not wish to step on anyones toes as you may get an answer from osrocket in the morning.

I have done many a resize for people too and all that osrocket has pointed out in the past I feel is true.
I cannot say if he still offers this service but in answer to your question I have always told my customers to take it easy with no high rpm and a richer setting than normal for around 2 tanks. Then you should be ok to let rip.
You may feel better to run rich for a start then gradually lean her down over the next two tanks. (After the first two.......if you get what I mean) Just take it easy is the thing.

I have had excellent luck using Rayaracing's pinching service. Great price, better the more you send. The engines run as good or better than brand new. I usually find other guys who need them done and we send in at least four. Rayaracing.com I believe is the web address.

Ive got a os pinch kit as well as a novarossi pinchkit. Its fairly simple , your just re-pinching the sleeve. Never had to use them yet , but there in my pit box just in case.
