I know it is dirty, and I hate Nitro, BUT I think I've

discovered a way that we can all burn regular old

grass, according to the UFO site I visit, and save

a ton of money!! And no rules or clarifications needed

then!!

I don't know. How big a "grass" tank can you run for that Mom???? Is 30% grass an unfair advantage!

Pre-coffee posting, and hair has turned TOTALLY white

after the last couple of weeks, plus 2 weeks of NO carbs

dieting!!

Casper always makes me a "flow chart" explaining Qual points

which I have never understood in all these years!!

Please Casper, "FLOW CHART" for the rules for BL and Lipo!!

Didn't get that far in testing, Casper!

All I know is it burns better than corn!!

I also believe there are various kinds of "grass"

to test. One of the TV guys is ALWAYS reccomending

one kind!

OH, Woody Harrelson, that's his name!

Sorry for the silliness! Just trying to point out some

of the absurd things and how they go!

Glad we now have rules for BL and Lipo!

What's that A-Team saying, oh yeah,

" I love it when a plan comes together! "

The plan is together, right?????????

That is easy. Run what ever the heck you want!

No this is all really "easy"

This year for club racing run what ever your club allows. (it has always been this way!!!!)

For JBRL: BL and Lipo in Modified classes only!!!

For Cactus: What ever rules SRS allows. Right now it is as follows.

Stock: ANY 27T brushed motor or ANY 13.5 BL motor

SRS Spec: ANY 19T brushed motor or ANY 10.5 BL motor

Modified: ANY thing you want to try

Lipo allowed in all classes but have to meet min weight, use a hard case for battery and charge in a "lipo sack"

For Nats according the the rules as they have been posted on this site (offical rules will be posted within 30 days to the best of my knowledge)

Stock: 27T ROAR Legal stock motor or 17.5 BL motor

Super Stock: 19T ROAR Legal 19T motor or 10.5 BL motor

Mod: ANY ROAR Legal mod or BL motor

Not sure how much of this BL/Lipo stuff will be certified ROAR legal by the nats. Depends on the manufactures getting stuff in. I hear Lipo will be allowed, but hard case and lipo sack for charging will be required????

HRH Shootout -- Not sure what Jimmy has in mind but it will be up to him as it is up to SRS for Cactus rules.

2009---

JBRL-- Ongoing discussions this year will determine rules for next year. Knowing Jimmy he will probably loosely follow ROAR rules? He is open to suggestions this year though so let the debate begin and let your voice be heard. (I will start a thread on the board at www.jimmybabcock.com to discuss this more and there are already some discussions over there on this topic)

Nats:
17.5 or ROAR 27T Brushed motor in stock

13.5BL ONLY in Super Stock.

Mod, what ever as usual.

Flow Chart in hand, Thank you Casper!!

And you know, I will continue to bug you about the rules,

as I do for Qual Points, Scott won't explain it any more,

tells me Go see Casper!!

I guess I will retire my sense of humor now, go back to

my boring self before I get banned from the site, or

perhaps join Murdock in the "safe" place!!!

From what I have seen on this site, it takes alot more than a sense of humor to get banned. So your good to go.

Anyone want to donate a heater for my office? It just wont warm up.

No, Jake just bought us a mini furnace to use at the track!

AND I can't wait to see my gas bill for the furnace here, in Sunny

California!!! Think it will look like the house payment!

Hey, I just thought of a good thing! My old, round, original,

sealed end-bell Midnights, just went up in price, they went

from "vintage" to the "antique" category!!

MOmo-- Yuck. I agree making stock a little slower is not a bad thing but if you just want to hold the trottle and steer you have just invented the opposite of slot cars!
