Monster HorsePower final gear ratio of 7.0 - 7.5
For a Epic Roar the final gear ratio is 6.5 - 7.0
To get the final gear ratio for your paticular car go here...

Hope this helps

It also depends on what type of Monster motor you are running, I know with my putnam in my FK05 that I need to gear much lower because the motor I have is a torque based motor. I gear from 6.20 to 6.70 range and get motor temps in the 130-150 range. I started off with a 7.29 and it was max rpm before the middle of the straight.

Anybody here know what battery is known for best punch? My cousin baught 2 packs of fukuyama batteries (i'm jealous ) And i noticed how low the i.r. was. And since punch is probally the most imortant thing to look at when racing stock, does anyone know any other matchers. Right now i'm using smc, and pmr.

I run Harris RC cells ( www.harrisrc.com ) and they have proven to be one of the best types of cells for stock racing in Australia. Harris RC has only been around for around 7-8 months but they have 1 national onroad title, 2 national offroad title and 1 state onroad title. Together with EA Motors, Harris R/C is the only choice for stock racing I feel.
