Default onroad

Its a shame that CP is having trouble. Here on the eastcoast,we feel your pain with 301 Raceway going through a similar situation. There are a few other places to run like Blue Diamond,VORRA,Floyd Bennet, and Chaplin CT,and a couple others, but for many you are talking about a 5 hour drive to race. I think that on-road is strong, the problem is, keeping a good place to run open. If these tracks would stay open, then you will have a good turnout. Each time you hear of a track in trouble,it chips away at your interest to run because of the uncertain future.

Come run at GLARCRC. Its a fun group of guys. Last weekend we had a good turnout, there we 2 heats of 1/8th, and the sedan turnout is getting bigger too.

On may 15-16 the kamikaze Invitational will be held there, it was at CP last year and it was probably the most attended race of the year. There were guys from the east coast, norcal and allover the US. So come get your practice in and get a setup.

Damn, found this thread right now...crazy. I went over there with 3 buddies to race Nitro Off Road last year and was told we had to

1) Buy a ROAR membership
2) Pay $85 Crystal Park membership fee
3) pay $10/day to practice.

I was the only one that wanted to buy into the deal, but my 3 other friends said no. Glad I listened to 'em.

Default Thank you James

Me and my dad use to go every Saturday. Early morning Carl’s Jr. Set up tent. Lay down towel, tool box, and my awesome mugen mtx3 haha There was a nice guy named Billy racing kyosho v one rrr at the time haha I remember seeing my first smp slide in person! Seeing all the 1/8th and 1/10th scale guys running It’s a cherished memory of mine. It was one of the best times of my life. I kept all my old rc stuff now I live in Georgia. No on road tracks. I still start up my cars every once in a while to smell and hear the sounds of nitro engine haha

Unfortunate I was hoping to come back to this track again one day.
