Anyone know if Tower are shipping version 1.1 Pro4 kits yet?

Alternatively, can anyone tell me where I can get a 1.1 kit for the same price (or better) than Tower - which is $269.99 after their $30 rebate. (or somewhere close to that, anyhow....)

Thanks.

try hara's set-up from the DHL cup. I'll use that as a base set-up and I get my car on carpet for the first time. Maybe I'll see you at Stockton next week...

however if you open your kit inside should be a bag that has an orange piece of paper that says version 1.1 on it.

in my specific instance there where 2 big bags with sub bags in them. on the outside of the larger bag there was the v1.1 bag stapled to it. pretty much showing that it was a 1.0 kit that they added the 1.1 bag to.

yours should be similar if its 1.1

but yeah if not contact hpi and they'll take car of you !
Thanks for clearing that up for me, i raced down to the room to see if i still had those orange slips but they have already found there wat to the tip.

I looked on there web page but cant find a customer care email address just a phone number so worse case scenario i will just buy the new front gears

Thanks for the help guys

I'm leaving Tues. for the winterchamps. 3 from my local track with Pro4's. I raced last night and I think I have a good carpet setup. I actually have 2. One very smooth and one very aggressive. I'll find which works better for that track.

I fell into the same trap. I would put a 'carpet' setup under my car and tweak and tweak and could never get the car to drive like I wanted it. Then it dawned on me. I needed to look at the setup as rubber tire vs foam tire instead of asphalt vs carpet. I then put Thad Garners asphalt setup under my car and it worked great. A few minor tweaks and the car drives like I want it to.

About the only thing I did different is to put Take Off 22s instead of Sorex 36s on the car.

@WesB:
Mine don't break, but they bend as easy as butter! Iv'e got like 4 useless bent bones lyin around here. A friend of mine just got a TC4 and the HD bones that came with the kit looked ten times more durable. I'll just prolly get 4 of those and de-anodize them.
Can't have any blue on the purple wonder, no?

the Shiney CVD's from the TC3 will fit as well and very durable.

Default Seems like guys are breaking stuff on the Pro 4.

Before I get one, is there a company that makes a bumper that protects the whole front of the car? I had to be very careful with the TC4 until I got the NTC3 bumper. If I can't find something that will protect the front end I'll pass on it.

i was planning to get the MIP shiny cvds, as a couple of mine are tweaked. havent broken any tho...

the BRP TC3 bumper mod works well to pretect the front suspension... if you look back a couple pages, there are pix and such.
