Your right Nut. I am a graphic designer. I've worked a number of teams and drivers on there liveries. Anything that helps that car be seen is invaluable. And being able to tell slow cars from fast ones is a must.

This kit has become popular at the Madison carpet track. Racers there report such good wear life (and fairly cheap - $15 mounted/pair) that they're not even interested in rubber tires.

I've raced this kit since the week it came out, and still do.

The foam spec tires are stunningly good. Consistent traction, long wearing, no chunking or ripping and very cheap to replace. We have guys racing for months on the same / original pair.

Options are always good, but our crowd love the foam tires, there is nothing we would change about them. We have fourteen local drivers racing this kit.

It varies based on how people setup the car...

Front: 195-200mm
Rear: 200-205mm

I they are looking for the width of the body itself, not the chassis. I heard at the track this past weekend that it's around 235mm. I can't confirm or deny as I haven't measured mine.

It's listed as an exhibition class for Formula R/C in Green Bay this year (outdoor) and rubber was mentioned a possibility if they are ever made. Not sure on the reason, and don't really care I'll run whatever they spec. These should rip with a 17.5 so I'll gladly take whatever has the most grip

Good to know the foams are holding up well on carpet, we'll likely be running this class indoors next year as well (21.5), in my local area.

Anybody got a starting FDR with stock uncut foams?

The popular range seems to be 22-25T on the pinion depending on the motor.

These cars look awesome! They could be the ones to get me back to racing, if only my local club promoted it

Love the Oak Racing livery (#3 above) from LeMans. I wish that I could duplicate it in 1/10th scale.

Does anyone (paint lab) make the Audi decal set? These bodies are nuts and I don't want to give my painter a heart attack when I tell him how I want it painted..lol
