that pack is hurt...i would be surprised if it didn't give you issues.

On a side note ive had issues with my losi 2000 rx pack....granted its over a year old and seen probably 150+ cycles but it started to glitch out one practice night multiple time's back to back...so i immediately brought it in and swapped the losi out for one of my 900mah practice packs....3 tanks back to back and no more issue's...so my losi 2000 is now sitting on the shelf and i stocked up on 6 more 900's....45 min on 900 isnt a problem....but a full hour might be close.

well then i figure i have another 90 cycles to reach 150 lol. when i went lipo you told me to keep a log and i have up until about the 20th cycle. my losi is consistant day in day out. the only couple issues iv had were it not fitting in battery box easy. the bottom of the losi box has that screw hole coming up through the bottom. anyhow it pushed a little dimple into the pack. no probs with it though. anyhow iv always used the tall covers and stacked it with foam below and above

as long as each cell is at least 3v, the pack is fine. Most lipo cells can actually go down to around 2.75v per cell without damage. And all lipo cutoffs are set for 3v per cell....(6v total on a 2s, etc.)

back to back testing proved otherwise on the losi pack....and imo lipo's will not go below 3.0 without damage...they puff up and can lead to failure if you continue to use it.

If your mainly club racing a 900mAh pack should be fine. They will last 45min easily. After 10min of practice, 2 5min quals and a 12 min main my pack was down to 7.5v.

I would keep 2 on hand in case there's a bump situation or something like that arises.

after all they are a little under 6$ a pack shipped.

Well I'm gonna pick up a new pack since last week I accidentally shorted out mine when testing the voltage.

The pack did get warm to the touch but it didn't puff up or swell. I threw on the charger to balance it after it cooled down. It did go up to 8.4v but I'm still worried it gonna dump on me.

But I've seen huge problems with people running all different brands of regulators, I definitely won't go that route.

JR has an excellent 3 yr warranty, the 9100 series was released about 18 months ago. So by my calculation that's about 18 months left of warranty if you bought them the day they were released. Not worth risking a $140 servo for lack of a $20 regulator.

+1 on more time to chill and smoke a cigar ohh yea and bs with bad jokes. Only as long as the track Nazi is not cracking the whip and givving out 3 min 'we are starting the race' warning. Then there is no chill time.

My sony erricson cellphone shuts down the phone when battery level goes below 3.5v. It's a single cell 9mah lipo battery.

I think I will now do the same and keep my lipo above 3.5v/cell always, I use to bring it down to 3.3v but, I have a feeling sony erricson guys know a bit more about batteries.

voltage was measured using fluke DMM.
