compared to a stratus 3.1, the altis body seems to give a bit more steering ... however, downforce is noticably less and you will have to be careful at high speeds.... top end speed is a bit higher as u have less drag/downforce...

i still prefer my Stratus 3.1 as it gives me a more stable feel.... albeit some steering and top end losses...

I watched this body for the 1st time this weekend at homestead Rc speedway. Those who used said that you will get more Steering but the top speed was affected. One driver Tricd122 said he would use the body fro a qualifer so he could be more agressive.

Wait till you try the East Civic by Serpent, I'm sure you'll end up not wanting to go back to using the Altis 2.3, the Altis is just too unstable on high speeds, causing you to be slower, unlike the East Civic you get both high speed stability and high speed steering and also agile enough on slower speeds.

I'll just try it out on the tracks and see what happens. maybe you guys were rigth. You have to give away the speed for more steering. I hope that our distributor will import the civic by serpent

I actually have both and use them interchangeably, and I must say I prefer the 3.1 better because it is a lot more stable for the same setting and tires.

I will try the DNA next since this is what seems most of the guys on my track uses.

I have used this body on two very different tracks. On a medium to small sized track, I think it works great giving more steering when you need it. But on large flowing tracks where you don't need a lot of steering, it does feel unstable at high speeds. On a really big track I still prefer my stratus 3.1 On the large track the stratus gives a more stable feeling to the car. It felt more "stuck" to the track and more predictable when driving. That's my opinion. Hope that helps.

i've try the serpent civic and the altis. On a tenical track, i wouod prefer the altis as iyt give more steering makingthe kit very easy to drive. as for big track with great flow, i will prefer the Serpent civic or the 3.1. the serpent body is abit expensive and i just kept it for big race.

i am using the altis 2.3 body and it is perfect because of our track being more technical and having only one long straight. choice a body that will suit your track conditions, and shape...
