AssociatedRacer: $700....wow, that's cheaper than they WERE selling them for!!!!!
The B4 had it's first major victory at it's first major race in the hands of a local driver, the one and only Ryan Maifield. In the first main, he had a little trouble, but won both the second and third mains to clinch the victory! The kids fast....
Hats off to Maifield!

Ryan was going to win the cactus regardless of which chassis he was running....
I ran my B4 on monday, just went out to the track and got a feel for it....Very nice, after I get some more driving time and setup under my belt, it will be faster than my old xxx.
I think it will be the car to beat.

What do you mean "Ryan was going to win the cactus regardless of which chassis he was running...." ? Do you mean that the car is THAT fast that he would have pulled it off no matter what?

He means since he was a local he practiced as much as he could in anticipation for just this race. Yes that gives him an advantage, but no matter how much practice you get, staying in front of world champions on any track is very impressive. Basically if he was running a Kyosho he would have made the show, the simple matter though is that he was able to hold off world champions for the win after having all the pressure from bad luck in the first round, which is entirely not something you can practice for and credit should be giving for that as well as being able to turn the fast laps, end of story. On top of that, the B4 deserves credit for the showing that it made because the facts are this, it did turn fast laps and it was easy for people to drive (because they have not had a lot of testing on it so far and look at the performance). Do people like Matt and Brian win the worlds because of their car? No, but does it help? Yes.

Hehe, I know what you mean! I will be at April Fools this weekend and Travis amezcua and Loyd Dasonville are there both with B4's. I will have pictures from it next week. Maybe even sunday.

What I want to know is why is the price of the b4 in the uk £20 -£30 more than a factory team B3.
And it is not because the b3 is being sold at knocked down price.
It is ridiculous.

Looks suspiciously like something from Kyosho. Though I am a fan of most of the car kits made today, it looks like a Kyosho to my untrained eye.
