Springs don't help a lot in this regard either although your springs make have "worn out" and need replacing.
I was having a similar problem last year and suspected weak springs so I asked a "veteran" racer how long do shock springs usually last. He says indefinitely. Well I dealt with it for the rest of the season. When I tore my buggy down this winter I measured my springs and one was a small bit longer than the other, got new springs and they were a bit longer than the old ones. Put new springs on and now I get proper ride height at half thread on shock body instead of all the way down. I thought I had to thread shock down so far because of extra weight of Ebuggy. Nope, my springs were worn out. Haven't tried it on track yet but it doesn't bottom as easy on the "drop test" Sorry so long, just trying to give some helpful info.

Theoretically assuming you are using the spring within it's design limits they should last forever. I did hear some reports of spring creep in the past so I made the comment. I would not say this is a common thing but may be part of the problem.

I've had a pair of the silver front springs sag out to the point you couildn't get the correct ride height with an "e" conversion. IMO the silver springs in the front just don't cut it with any "e" conversion. I took some careful weights of both a nitro 8ight and my electric 8ight and found the "e" car to be about 7% heavier in the front than the nitro with a 1/2 filled tank. If you do the math on the springs you find they are about a 6-7% change per rate. So, going to a green in the front makes a lot of sense.

For reference my 8ight uses the the losi conversion with a Tekin system and a 500 gm 4900 4S soft pack. If you are using a bigger pack or a hard pack then you will be even heavier than my car.

What is the weight of your buggy battery and all? And what setup are you running? One more question, what have you done to reduce the weight? Thanks in advance!

Nice! I like the tower comparison. Did you change anything in the drive line?

With the losi stuff. I would recommend a 3s for the 2100KV motor. Works great on smaller tracks. Lots of power but not insane.

For larger tracks or a little more speed you can go 4s on the 1700KV motor all on the Xcelorin systems.

I run a Nue 1512/1.5Y(1850kv) on 4S with a Mamba Max(1/10) esc, on 2 small-med tracks and it does fine. Plenty of run time and power.

Tekin 1900 on 4S 5000's is what i run...but there's soo many variables to decide you really have to do some research and make a decision.

Integra.I only know u from RC tech. And seem to be a good racer, I will go with tekin. What Coversion would you use for with the 2.0 buggy. And pinions I looked on eBay an could not find any. Any help is good. I like gas but I never have a steady pit crew, and that sucks for me. That's why I want to try electric.
