the real 'big' one that most go for is some type of steel front universal shaft...if you're running mod, or a not-so-clean driver, the aluminum ones have been known to snap and/or twist

Default understanding tcx

hello guys,

I have several questions about this car:
1.- I have notice that the suspension arm are reversible, I would like someone explain me how to get the maximum of this, they have 2 ways of installing and I would like to know in which situations do I have to put the arm in other position.
2- ther are no "low-grip" setup sheet, does anybody have setup for asphalp very low grip track, please? I have look for them and I only found 3 or 4 setup sheets
3- I have a lot of troubles understanding the roll center in this car, can anybody tell me why should I put shims under the blocks right out the box? the car is a little bit undrivvable...

thank you guys!

The TCX is race ready right out of the box. Here are some hop-ups that are important IMHO

-3 hole 1.1mm shock pistons
-Steel 46mm dogbones (when Hotbodeis releases them )
-Hotbodies titanium tie rods (strengthens the car)
-Some Pink and Blue HPI springs

dunno....yet I have 2 sets on order but they just shipped today from overseas - supposedly I'll get them mid-July...Not sure if i'll swap them out right away or wait until the 3Racings one i have break

either way, for the price they aren't too bad - still not quite as good of a deal as the 3Racing ones (set of 4 for about the same price - versus set of 2)

It will allow more flex overall then the stock chassis. It mellos the car out and also lets it drag less on the edges.

The standard chassis works great on Asphalt. Either kit or Smokem are the best for asphalt depending on grip conditions
