I saw someone else do this before and it was helpful. If you list a race here, I'll add it to the first post. I'm trying to keep it to tracks within 3 hours of Philly but if you guys think it's a race worth noting, then I'll add it (like the ROAR stuff, etc...)

If you have a link to the race flyer or a race thread, put that in your post too and I'll update it.

I think Mike Larcher maintains (or maintained) a race calendar too. Maybe he can help me out with this.

Bob. ... Here's a link to a regional calendar of bigger races Ed put together. There are some races on there you may be able to add to yours.

I was working on a facebook group for this... but got sidetracked. Definitely needs to be done, though.

Good job taking the initiative, Bob... we'll include this during your annual review.

Yes rccalender.com (yes spelled wrong, only domain available) you can subscribe to it via gmail calender too. I only have one up there, but I'm going to add one for offroad this year since with both, it was very cluttered, and most only seem to care about one or the other (On the site it will display both)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I updated it with all the stuff Duane's site listed. I would like to add the Race Against Cancer on there too if anyone can get me the specifics for that.

Also any charity races. I feel this is an area that we need to really improve in. As a whole, we are all into the charity races, but if we could coordinate them better and arrange them better, we could double, if not triple, their effectiveness!

Blue Diamond has a few charity races scheduled for this year. Food Bank of Delaware and Breast Cancer I can name off the top of my head

yeah I know they have them on the schedule, but I want to get them listed here. I already messaged Daniel to provide me the dates.

The goal is that we all support each others tracks and not have 4 events scheduled for the same day. Not to mention when you have multiple events on the same day, that typically means you have 2 or 3 weeks in a row with no events LOL.

You should add Hobby Hut and LCRC's schedules. Hobby Hut's is hobbyhutraceway.com and LCRC's schedule is somewhere here on rctech.

Barnstormers would also be another track to add, now that I think about it.

Actually, here's a list of northern Region 2 (and some Region 1) tracks I know of (in no particular order, please don't yell at me because you're not where you think you should be on this list).

Trains and Lanes ( Allentown PA)
Blue Diamond / G-Force ( Newark DE)
MRRC ( Manorville Long Island NY )
Barnstormers ( Chester NY )
G's in Shippensburg ( Shippensburg PA )
Family Hobbies ( Vineland NJ )
Mushroombowl ( Kennett Square PA )
LCRC ( Oakland Mills PA )
Dirt Runners ( Oak Ridge NJ )
Pit Stop Hobbies ( Mt Joy PA )

I'm trying to avoid adding regular weekly race schedules as pretty much everyone has their own following and thread for that.

This is just more for the 'name races' to make it easier for the racer directors to work together on scheduling and for us guys who like to hit up different tracks. I'll go back and put links to their their threads / sites as I go.

Oh I know... but any of these local tracks could, in theory, hold a "big race". And I believe McCulloughs's in Sarver, PA ( out near Pittsburgh) holds a big, charity race every summer.
