Truggy set up question (Hudy)
So I have a Hudy station and it calls for using a 30mm block under the chassis when setting everything up.
Is this (30mm dimension) based on a buggy? Since the trug has bigger wheels, and more ride height, should I be using a taller block when setting it up?
I know it is not a huge deal, but might as well do it right if you have the right tools! I work with 0.0005" all day long and tend to get a bit "precise" with the RC.

The important part is that you use the same repeatable steps when using the setup kit.
Also, using 30mm blocks matches the droop gauge from hudy.

The tires aren't on when you use the setup station! So how could their size influence anything at all? LOL. 30mm is a referance point to the chassis. Truggies often have similar droop and suspension travel as buggies. The system hold the car up around 30mm usually.
Yes, use the 30mm blocks. Keep in mind that your usual ride ht is often a mm or two less than those blocks, so that you may need to add camber to compensate.
Use the 30mm blocks when you set droop as well.
Setting everything up the 1st time, is easier with no shocks on the car.
My buggy (26/30mm) uses an extra degree of camber in the front when on the station than it reads on the table. 2.5-3.5/3-4 are my usual range of camber settings on the Hudy station.
