Hey Guys, what parts would be good to have in case of breakage or wear?

Awesomatix USA has a pretty good list of recommended spares on their site:
http://www.awesomatixusa.com/p/parts.html
Scroll down to the recommended spares, you may need to update the part numbers to newer revisions but the list is still good.

Hi, if you don't find the Awesomatix the Tamiya part number 51253 fit well on the front of an Awesomatix... Probably other manufacturer also fit.

So I took the car out for its first day on Friday. With the help of someone at the track, I was able to get things tuned and turning some decent laps (for me). Little things kept happening that prevented a full pack run so that is yet to come. After a long bout with thread lock not drying on the front out drive (st17-1-s), screws not adjusted on the battery holder (p23) allowing my battery to come free, I noticed some wobble on my spur. The track was closing so it was time to shut it down anyhow. Well, it turns out, the motor mount collar (DT-03) is required in the motor mount bulkhead plate (am73-4). I searched the new motor mount instructions as well as the ffg instructions and couldn't find anywhere it was indicated as needed. I haven't run it yet with this collar in there but am making the assumption based off of its use in the previous motor mount. This car definitely has a different feel than my ARC so it'll take some getting used to. Fun though.

Hi, until Oleg found the time to "update" the manual read John Doucakis presentation to have an overall idea how parts go together

Personally I use the DT03 in the "no flex" position (the recess on the side of the spur) to act as a bearing spacer.

NEED HELP!!!
Hey guys, I dont even have a clue how to say this in my first language, but I hope you may understand what I need to know. So, does anyone know:

1. How to balance the car?
2. How to tweak?
3. How to adjust or evenly distribute Wheel load?

I hope you guys have an idea what I'm on about :-)
Thanks for your help!!

Hi,
last weekend we raced the LRP Touring Car Masters in Rüsselsheim and Viljami managed to finish 3rd behind Ronald and Marc, a very good result, especially because he was so close to catch them
He used the new A700 EVO2, the options we used were SD-2, AM-19 (we used short links) and ST17-1-S.

Attached you can find his setup using LRP CPX tires on the "ETS" carpet, a very hard and thin carpet.
You can find a picture of the track here
kind regards
Marcel

Thanks for posting these, Marcel - any setup information on the newer spec stuff (especially the rebuildable dampers) is much appreciated!

That track looks incredible... really makes the carpet racing we do here in the US look like a clown show (except for maybe what Scotty does at the IIC). If only we could have setups like that to race on for club racing, maybe more folks would embrace Mod.

Congratulations for Viljami and Max Mächler with LRP TCM 2015 results!

You can see how close battle was between Viljami, Marc and Ronald in all runs.
Max also was one of the 2-3 fastest drivers in 10,5T Stock class. Hope that the fortune will be more favorable to Max next time.
Big "Thanks!" to Marcel Geiger for preparing of the car for Viljami.

Hi Stogie,
we've been using the new shocks now since a few weeks, so far there are no "special tweaks" about them.
We testet with different oil's from 350cst up to 800cst with the standard AT41 vanes. For the TCM, we use the dampers out of the box, no changes, no rebuild over the weekend
For Ride tires (next ETS is up in 2 weeks) i think we'll start with heavier oil (> 600cst).

You can try the setup from Viljami also for Club Racing, maybe longer wheelbase and thinner diff if you're running blinky stock. Please note the CPX tires don't have as much grip as the Ride, so maybe you have to adapt the setup if your track has a lot of traction (maybe less shims under at21S or reduce the shims for the upper arm on am06s/m). You can also leave away the small amount of kickup in front, we just added this to improve the handling on the slightly bumpy section on the right side of the track.
kind regards
Marcel
