Default Mx-3

I'm going to be buying a radio and was wondering if anyone carried it for less than what Tower has it for ($105 w/1 servo)?

What are your thoughts on the radio? I was also considering the Futaba 3PD (I think thats the comparable model). Airtronics has a couple extra available memories, looks like they have the same features though. Appreciate your input.

Default MX3 Great Radio

I've had an MX3 since they first came out and they are awesome. I have an M8 now and there is nothing the M8 can do that the MX couldn't do but I may not be able, at this point, to really tax my M8 I'm still learning all of it's features. another nice thing is if you upgrade to an M8 later all those crystal sets you bought are still good. I was really skeptical at that price that it wouldn't be a good radio but is just a great buy.

I sold my M8 last year, it was a nice radio though a bit wierd feeling. I didnt use at least half of the features so I figured something like the MX would have everything I needed. As long as the quality is still typical Airtronics and the features are good enough for the sedan class (cant imagine needing anything else personally) I'll pick one up.

I searched ebay all day long but I'm in the middle of a dookie samiche sorta. I'm in Japan and can only use the 27 and 40 band, most on ebay where 75. Most were also radio only, which doesnt bug me to much but I need to consolidate shipping and couldnt find a receiver from the same sellers to make it cost effective.
