I will try the transmitter idea tomorrow. If it does not work the belt tensioner will be my last try, Christian...
Thank you for the additional option
Don't know if you solved your noise problem yet but I had something similar with my TC6.2. It was making an unusual noise and I changed and inspected almost everything you mentioned in your original post. I finally moved the pinion away from the spur gear and ran the motor. Sure enough the bearing in the motor was the culprit. Changed the motor and the problem was solved. Hope this helps with your problem.

Myron, I'm particularly interested in your setup.
I tried a new setup this past Sunday and it was really consistent. Not as fast as before but very easy to drive. It could also because I haven't been at the track as much either lol

I will submit them to the AE site this week.

Cool. I bought my car used (and assembled). After looking at Andrew Cartwright's setup sheet for carpet on the Associated site, it's close to that.
I have been running a Diggity Designs DC4LE and I was surprised to find how much easier it was to drive the 6.2. Times were immediately faster and car was pushy.

Well this Thursday starts my favorite race of the year, the Reedy TC Race of Champions! Got a brand new car built up for the race and have high hopes for an excellent weekend. Check out the action on LiveRC if you aren't local, it's one of those few races of the year that spectating is almost as good as racing.

Randy, why are you running tc4 rear arms? I noticed that Rick is running them also. As well as tc5 hubs and caster blocks. Is this for durability or better handling. Thanks and good luck!

From redrc chassis focus, I am surprised to see rick did some many modification on his tc6.2.

What is wrong with current tc6.2 suspension geo???

I have owned tc6, 6.1 6.1wc & 6.2. By far, 6.2 is the best car to have.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't remember all of them, but I remember TC4 and TC5 arms.

I'm more curious about the roll bar; what are the blue collars he has on there; I thought I heard Randy was using Yokomo roll bars as well.

Perhaps Rick can comment here on why the change was needed and the parts if someone wanted to do the same.

I'm tempted to copy the mod but I am not sure it is worth it for my skill level.

They (team associated) have been doing this since last year.

The C hub caster cause too much slop, and shock inserts in the a arm strip and the 6.2 rear arms are longer than the tc4 if I remember correctly.
