Arrow HotBodies Lightning Stadium Sport

I'm thinking about getting one as my first Nitro from TowerHobbies for $270. Anyone have one?
Anyone know about it?

the lightning stadiumPRO can be made to work and has some of the toughest diff gears out ...i would steer clear of the stadium sport as you will spend more than 270$ to make it competitive ...just my opinion .....

I don't need to make it competitive since I'm not going to race. I just want a cheap durable first Nitro.

I am running a Lightning Stadium Pro. I put lots of money and time into making it competitive. After about 4 years it's running good but it's not able to keep up with the newer truggies out there.

My advice, don't waste your money on one......If you want a good cheap truggy, A Main hobbies was selling the Losi 8ight T for around $300.

It's got a lot of problems out of the box.

i recently got one. Got it all broke in and it runs like a champ. I love it. Its my third off road nitro and it's the best performing off road nitro i've owned. I would advise purchasing one, seems to be one of the best bangs for the buck. best of luck to ya

I don't have enough $$$ for a Losi 8ight T. I want to get a RTR truggy for UNDER $300. I'm not worried about handling since it's going to be my first Nitro and all I've previously owned were 1/18 and 1/10 Stadium Trucks.

Hey if your bashing then it should be as good as the next rtr nitro truck. Just some are better than others. If your bashing a savage or a monster gt may be more durable. But are more expensive.

OK thanks. I just wanted to know if it was durable enough to be a basher. If I really like Nitro then I'll prob after a while save up and get a better chassis and transfer the stuff from this one to it.
