As soon as someone gets a hold of the .12 race, give us an update. I need an engine, do NOT want to pay over 200 (realistically) and have to contend with all manner of NS3 and NS5 varients this season, maybe even an X12. I just need to be competetive without breaking the bank.

It should like like a normal engine if I recall. Pictures below are link courtesy of boy2rc.

If you've not seen these pictures, they are taken right after MS won the Euro 2004 champs in Luxumborg during tech inspection. Apparently everyone was shock to see that it was only a stock engine with no mods on it.

The engine crankcase would not be black in colour like in the photos though... I think it was still a prototype then with the Ofna words on the crankcase.

This was after the LRP race in Luxemburg. This was a prototype. The crankcase is now light grey in colour, and the cooling head is larger in diameter and lower in height.

Had my hands on one of the .12's last night. Looks pretty sweet. The Powerpack price was $265(That's Engine and 2607 EFRA Pipe/Header). I heard there are only about 50 in the US at the moment. Next batch wont be available till after Winternats. I was very temped to snatch it up last night. But I think i'll wait to see how my locals like them. Serpent USA along with a few other lucky souls will be breaking them in today and testing at a track in Miami. Winternats will tell us the truth though.

No, I've never been there. It's too far away. I live in northern Palm Beach County.

I go to Coral Springs and Go Racing. I have not been racing very long... about 6 months. Do you ever go to those tracks?

Only been a couple of times. They're fun, but too small for me. The new layout at RPR is fast and fun. And that track is like 10 minutes away from me. The others are a bit of a drive for me.

Can you tell me what online shops sell the mega plugs for the .21? My LHS has an engine but it doesn't come with a plug and nobody from Serpent USA seems to want to respond to his e-mail and calls to find out about stock and ordering some plugs. Thanks.

Hi Mo,

We have plenty of glowplugs in stock at the warehouse. All range of Mega plugs are available. Tell your LHS to send his order. Is strange that he is telling you that we don't want to respond to him, customer is our first concern and we care to give a good service and customer support.

Enjoy your ZX21
