corner balancing, what gram capacity scale?

I too have been thinking about building a set if scales. I believe 1000 gram scales would work These are scale I found on Ebay they were $7 shipped each and they won't combine on shipping, 1000g/28g per OZ=35.7 oz=2.23 lb per scale. I thought that is more then enough to balance a touring car front to back and side to side.

awesome, thanks for the replies guys, seems like a 1000gram capacity per scale is perfect for a 1/10 on-road car.
and for those curious, yes i will be doing 4 scales, one on each corner.

Typical corner weights will be in the region of 300g (Electric TC) so 500g scales would be enough.
