Are the AE gullwing's a pop in solution, or do you need extra parts? Any special dremeling or work required? thx
I do on high grip surfaces yes.
Gullwing arms basically change the way the shock inclination changes as the car rolls. The result of this is that, changing nothing else, you lose a little initial steering but gain a good chunk of mid-exit steering.
This makes the car feel more neutral through the whole turn with the tire combinations we run on astroturf / carpet.

If you were already running long your track isn't going to be suited to gullwing arms anyway so no need to worry.

I bought my RB6.6 used and raced it for the first time yesterday. Did pretty well with it, but the motor ran hotter than I feel comfortable with. I need a fan on it and have been searching for what is available in the aftermarket world....such as the waterfall mount I had on my Assoc. B5M. So far, I've come up empty. Any suggestions?

Well, I ordered a 30mm fan from Maclan and will try to install it similar to what I saw in an RC Car Action article. Haven't decided on the mounting method yet, however...and I can't quite tell how this one (below) was attached.

the fan does not have a screw in it for a mount, and it does work . . .

Best way is to CA glue the fan to the double sided tape and stick the tape to the chassis. This is better than the fan mount as it doesn't bounce around. Distributor for WTF fans gave me the advice and haven't broken one since

Best thing about doing it this way, other than it stays secure, is that being it is CA glued to the tape you can still take your motor out. The fan can be bent since it is the tape that flexes a little and fan is CA'd to the tape.
I've taken my motor out a dozen time and never had to re-tape the fan.

I have a setup question(s) for everyone. I picked up my RB6.6 used. I went through it and set it up with the box stock setup as best I could, but the manual was a bit unclear in some regards. I also noticed that the rear pistons were 4 hole, but I believe they were originally 2 hole?
I'm running on a very smooth turf track that's awfully high bite so I'm running a laydown transmission setup with a shorty pack as far forward as I can get it. I'm also running the hardest front springs and the second hardest rears, based on some info I found online. Given the high grip levels, I thought it seemed pretty reasonable. Anyway, I threw 35 WT in the dampers and raced it last weekend. It did well, but had a few issues...
It had a slight push on corner entry. Not awful, but it was noticeable. It also flat-landed poorly and would seem to slap and get sideways sometimes. The track's landings are easy to overshoot and when I did, the car would typically get pretty upset costing me lots of time. Here's a video a friend took for me while I was practicing:
