Speaking of, it looks like that Ride "long" is the better choice vs the Tamiya brand? -yes?
going to place an order probably tomorrow.
Sorry for the late reply. According to my friend, They're very much the same. Me? I would go for the Ride because of the price.

I tried the Integy damper tool. I was a bit concerned the metal plier might mar the damper shaft, but considering the tool is made of aluminum vs stainless steel shaft, no issue.

Worked well, thanks to LittleZEN for the tip on tools.

Thanks also to SagadSetup on the damper pump.

My wife looked at my damper pump and said it looks like a marinating pump. I guess it's the same principle.

Yeah, it actually worked well. I'm using an AE 100K in my front diff and it took at least 5min even with the pump to get all the air out to know where the oil level was.

For the rear diff I used AE's 5K and that went much faster with the pump.

Great news about using the pump on the diff's. Will try that out for sure. I have a few set of shocks that are in need of a rebuild ...so can't wait to use this tool.

-I see that/had to go back and re-read your post!

Curious how many tools you guys have, especially multiple brands of the same tool? I read an article about Mark Weir, he is a pro-mountain bike rider who lives about 1/2mile from my house. He is really into RC cars (SCTrucks) and has his own backyard track. There was a photo of him in RC Car Action in his garage working on a SCTruck. He had an entire line of hex wrenches, there must have been 60 wrenches lined up. This got me thinking about my own hex wrench setup. I have the same set I bought about 10 years ago when I got back into this hobby after a long break. It is an Integy brand, has a handle w/ swappable bits. I like how it is compact when the bits are removed, but the bits are okay.. I've had several strip, but overall I get good use out of them for the price. I needed a long reach bit so purchased a wrench w/ bit that is not removable from another brand, I think its MIP ...it is really nice. I've thought about getting another set, but I hate being wasteful ..not using my original Integy set in favor of a better set.

I have one set of Integy wrenches (one wrench a bunch of bits) and one MIP (I think) wrench. What about you guys/gals, how may hex wrenches do you have?
