I would like to start a monster truck class. There is a lot of people out there with E-maxx's, Stampede's, E-Revo or even a HPI Wheelie king 4X4. That just sounds like good clean fun! And, it dosn't mater how bet up the track is.

renting takes cash, you going to chip in?
Cash that comes from mainly form entries. So, with entries down and that money also being used for rent its a fine line between the rent, lights, and water, and money for a tiler. Estecially, if you have a low turn out. If WE (the racers) want the track changed we need to be bring as many people to the track as we can, and not caying about it!

So by your logic we should continue to pay full price for practice, racing and parts and now take responsibility for both the financial and labor upkeep of the track? Right, I might as well get behind the counter and devote some of my time to selling parts and anwsering phones. I can't wait to get on the mic and start calling "Check your pockets, check your pits were looking for the 69 frequency clip!" Sorry its way late and I'm feeling kinda punchy but this is some really poor logic. Either shut the freakin place down or run it like its supposed to be run. Look at us all, pissing over a place that is treating us as a burden rather than its lifeblood.

Default SoCal Raceway (Huntington Beach) replacement

Does anyone know if there is a track around the Huntungton Beach area that might replace SoCal? I heard something about one opening in Irvine, but i think it might just be gossip.

Default Anyone know of a track that will replace SoCal Raceway near Huntington Beach?

I heard that there might be a track in Irvine opening up, near Novak to replace SoCal. Does anyone know if this is gossip or fact?

Guys, ALex and I were down there on Sunday and from what I got out of Slim was the new track (Russ) may be on hold until they see where the SoCal track ends up. If things improve and they start making money, then the Irvine track may not happen. I don't think things will improve at SoCal if we don't show them some support.

Get out or help out. Thats what I say. I've stayed helped out after races and helped with the track as much as I can for 13 years. If that make me a bad person in your eyes so be it!
