If you ever ride with Tag to a race, bring a gas can just in case.
Let's just say we had "crusher" on standby for a little rescue effort. The truck fluttered going up the on ramp.
20 gallon fuel cell, the pump said it filled 19.9 gallons .
Enjoyed the racing, the F's are definalty the way to go right now, at least over 767's anyway. I put 5 runs (probably really about 8 considering practice runs are about 8 minutes long), and I could still clean them off and see the serrations.

Hey, guys. Congrats on the good runs to all this weekend.
Larry, let us know how you finish up.
Team eXpress had a great time at the Region 2 race @ Jackson R/C yesterday. We had several drivers there to represent.
Stock touring was a ton of fun: in qualifying it was 1. Williams 2. Getchell 3. Herald. My car was working super well with Tag's 'M'-based stock and F-line brushes. I took TQ with a 23, 5:01. Track was super hot, so no track records were going to be broken in those conditions.
In the main, I made a change to 767s which was a big mistake as they took a big nose-dive within two laps which let Getchell cleanly get around me. Having said that, Jr. and I had a super great race for 2nd and 3rd with Junior maybe 2 inches from my bumper for the better part of 10 laps. A little lap traffic and a bobble put a bit of distance between us and that was that.
Gotta give respect to Getchell as one of the finest stock asphalt racers on the East Coast. His record on asphalt speaks for itself. Jr. too showed the kind of wheel he is with the level of respect he showed me.
In 19T, the racing was hard-core with qualifying from 1-5: 1. Gray 2. Cuffs 3. Xavier 4. Spence 5. Williams
The range in time was 24, 5:03 (Gray) to 24, 5:07 (Williams), so it was super tight in qualifying. In the main, the battle was really for 1-3 between Gray, Cuffs and Xavier. Spence and I had a good battle midway through the race for 4th. In the end it was 1. Gray, 2. Xavier, 3. Cuffs, 4. Spence, 5. Williams
As always, Jackson put on a great show and the track was near perfect irrespective of the 100+ temps.

Brian looked really good at the C. My car was slowly coming around but I am still a ways off. I thought I was getting close for the main but with everyone thinking this was the worlds that they were racing in I kind of got knocked into next week. I can say that I will be more prepaired for the 20th.
