So I feel like I finally caught up on sleep from my long weekend at Silver State What was I thinking running three classes. I couldn't have done it without the help of so many people. I'd like to thank, Richard Saxton, Mike and Hal Hudson, Jeff and Rachel Freeman, Kendall Bennett, Tony Newland and Scott, Jos, Gary, Woody and Todd, (my pit crew) Randy Joslin, Bob Novak and Barry Baker. I couldn't have done it without all the help I'd also like to thank Jason, Toby and Mike for putting on a great event

Here are a couple pictures I took over the weekend. I didn't have a lot of time to take pictures but I did take a few.

The wind there normally blows from the north to south. The drivers stand is facing north so when your racing all the dust from all the cars and what seems like the entire desert blows up into the drivers stand. This video will give you an idea of the dust that can blow into the drivers stand.

You NEED them out there, I wore mine almost all day just to shield my eyes from the 65mph winds, the horizontal rain and sand blowing all over the place. It felt like getting a microderm abrasion out there when the wind really picked up on Friday.

Unfortunately there is no public information for this race. Typically its either March or April. I hope march because the winds are a little lower.
