Those are steering horns....

To the best of my knowledge, M2C is the only one that makes aftermarket throttle horns. I haven't had any problems with the stock plastic throttle horns.

My bad, so used to seeing the steering horn as the issue....lol. Wouldn't it be better for the throttle horn to break/bend before damaging other stuff anyway?

I have the M2C 25 tooth throttle horn. I tried putting it on my Protek 170S and I could not get it on. Too tight. Called M2C and they said that has been an issue. I just went back to the stock plastic horn.
Never had any issues with the plastic anyway. Neither have any of my racing buddies.

I've not had any issues with the plastic throttle horn either - I always carry a spare or two just in case. Honestly, if your end points are good, and you check them frequently, my gut feeling is the plastic is more healthy for your servo anyways due to its flexible nature..

Hi Everyone, I recently picked up a Kyosho Mad Crusher and really like it, but I want something that handles better. The truck is great fun but it really doesn't handle. I've been away from nitro RC for a while(been playing with 1/5 scale)

I'm looking at truggys and the NT48.3 came up. I have a few questions I hope you can help me with:
1. If i just want to have fun on my farm and not race, would this kit be overkill?
2. Will it accept a pull start engine like the KE25?
3. For my purposes, would I be better off with a simple RTR like the the Inferno Neo ST Race spec 2?

Thanks!

Are the tekno truggy universals measured from the pin to the u joint or to the inner bearing seat? Can anyone measure the universals up and post a picture, total length and to the inner bearing seat.

Does this kit have any weak points? Arms, diffs, etc? Is there another version on the horizon?

I would assume so, and it's a very solid kit. the only thing i've had happen alot is if u case a jump just right, the rear drive shaft will pop out and normally bends, i've also broke a few rear short braces also. so I would say it needs work in the rear for sure, a few around here have used the .4 rear brace which i will be doing soon. other than that, very tough truck, and fast.
