Slash Sways...
I think i'm going to try and run my slash in the mod 13.5 class until my xl5 gets in. I am going to the lhs to pick up a sideinder to run my sonsorless 13.5 but I might pick up a sway bar kit too. How effictive are these? What differance do stiffer bars compared to softer bar on handleing/body roller? Sorry for the newb.ish question
Thanks guys

Too stiff of a sway bar will inhibit the natural roll of the chassis through a corner. This will place more of a demand on your tires to use the traction available to them. On a loose slippery track, they tires would slide worse than normal.
Too soft of a sway bar will feel as if nothing is there at all and you arent running anything.
If you are running on a carpet track, traction should be really high, so go big with the wire used and scale back if you need more traction on the end with the sway bar (assuming you are going to use them both front and rear).
Before running (after installing the sway bars), do a suspension travel test to insure the sway bar is not limiting the actual movement of the arms. It is designed to keep the chassis more toward level during a turn, not inhibit the stock suspension movement.

I love my sway bars plain and simple. Once you go sway you will never go back. hahaha
I have a backslash with front and rear bars. I am running an after market stampede rear bumper in which allowed me to use a sway bar with ease.
