Most XB9E related parts are in stock here in Sweden, some of them has no price set yet.

To bad that there was not any XB9E stickers in the kit, i suppose that the new body comes with those stickers.

Thanks, guys! I did notice the receiver case (336000) looks to be an 808 part so it's already released. I'm going to go ahead and order it. Since I already have the motor mount I'm hoping all I'll need to convert my 2012 XB9 are these four parts:

Side guards
Battery plate
Battery plate holder
Receiver box mount

I guess the next question will be how much all this will cost.

I was thinking of converting my 13 nitro car instead of buying a new kit, anyone know if the 13 chassis is useable with the new conversion parts?

The chassis used on the XB9E is the nitro 2012. I can do a pic of it if you want to compare it with your nitro 2013

That would help, I know the 13 is wider/longer so not sure if everything will work conversion wise. If I have to buy the chassis/mudguards I mine as well get the kit.

I'm considering buying this buggy for bashing and would like to know are the parts more expensive than other makes; serpent, xray, team associated, te.kno, ofna, mugen etc..

asking for the price of the parts is the wrong question

You should ask how often you need these parts. I'm running the 808e since April last year and the XB9E since some weeks now, and during all the time only one single part broke due to crashes and accidents.

These cars are small tanks, it's hard to break a part.

But, to answer your question: There is no big difference in terms of pricing between the manufacturers. Xray is a bit more expensive, but that's peanuts compared to the price you have to pay until the car is up and running.

I found something I DON'T like about the XB9E: the servo saver. It's a PITA

The barrel rotates into its housing when I try to set the correct preload (6-7mm). Reno Savoya just glues the top plastic part to the barrel so that it doesn't move anymore. Other drivers use a 2,5mm set screw that goes through that part and the barrel.





It would be great to release a metal part as an option, the servo saver on the XB9 really is a pain to install

For now it's the only problem I had. Just make sure to shim your diffs correctly also. They need to have no side play. I had to use two optional shims (the large diameter ones) on the ring gear side in the front diff and one left + one right in the rear.
