Hey, go the Xray XT8. I understand it has not proven itself yet, but dont worry, it will! Looks great, and if it follows in the footsteps of The XB8, then there's no stopping it!

Just my 2 cents

For the price, the Standard MBX5T is an awesome truggy at a great value. It comes with a set of CrimeFighter or BowTie MTR tires and doesn't need any hop-ups except for the one-piece motor mount (one-piece mount can be found on Ebay for real cheap). But I would also recommend upgrading the brakes to the TTR "option" brake discs and then just run the metal calipers without the rubber pads. The stock brakes work very good but if you get fuel on them they slip. The TTR discs are dialed!

Best of luck,

My vote is for an Losi 8ight-t or a Mugen 5t definately two of the best. Buy what you can get parts for easily.
