Solaris Tires

The SC shape has a larger diameter, slightly wider, and a little rounder in profile. It was developed for coarse grain and less grippy surfaces. The car doesn't rotate as well, but its a more forgiving tire and easier to drive. We'll be getting some in within a couple weeks. Also in both spoke and dish.
The rubber formulation between the SP and SC are exactly the same.
Thanks,
EJ

I have tested the Solaris 35EX back to back with Sorex 36s. I found the 35EX are just as fast on the first run and seems to hold up better then the Sorex 36s. Sorex 36s drops off considerably after the 1st run. My lap times usually slow by .1-.2 secs on the second run.
I like the performance/price ratio the 35EXs provide and will continue to use them for our local club races. Finally found a tire I'm happy to make the switch from overpriced Sorexs.

I was looking on a local webstore and noticed that they sold solaris 12th scale tyres, anyone know much about these and what type of foam they are using?

Now that the RROC is over, we are back to our favorite tires (Solaris) We have SP30 (Spoked), SP35 (Spoked) and SP35 Dish wheels in stock. Can't wait to run tires that don't fall off over the course of 2 runs again.

We've been running the new Solaris SC35 and SC40s and they are another awesome tire! The compounds are the same as the SPs, but the sidewalls are taller and more rounded making them a bit easier to drive. Laptimes between the two are pretty much the same, but depending on your driving style, you may find more consistency with the SCs.
Here are a couple of pics if you haven't seen them, we have them in black and white but I personally prefer black:
