They were intended to be used on high bite surfaces. I have found them to be useful on medium bite tracks as a tuning tool to free up the car.

So, are you guys saying that you would remove your stiffeners on a rough track?

I would not use them on a rough, low traction track. They are designed to prevent wheel flex which happens quite easily on a high traction, fast track.

That's great to know! So you want the wheel to flex more on a rougher track? Is the flex happening at the point of contact? Flattening at the bottom of the wheel?
