Hara is the best driver in the world. He's a threat to win the worlds in every single class in RC. Nobody else can even get close to claiming that.

You guys have seen their facility, right? Imagine moving Hara there to test. And if they can afford that, they can afford to add a pro driver to their payroll. They're actually pretty light when it comes to top pros.
I have to agree, that pairing would be pretty epic.

Where ever Hara ends up, it will be a big plus to that company's race team and product sales. Like someone said in a previous post, with Hara driving at a WC event, he puts your product in contention for a world championship no matter what he drives.

If you want to win a 'road worlds and you can't get Marc or Ronald, then you get Hara. And unlike all those other guys (including the off-road guys), Hara might win you a worlds in 5 other classes because he's bored.

Imagine Hara at all the ETS races!

You could pay Hara's salary for 10 years with the cost of one CNC machine.

He ran Martin's Xray for the dash for chash at the last round of the ETS
and Xray can afford Hara.
BTW I was suprised that he was not using Andys car for the Dash for chash.

On the end we will run for Amain and then he can choose any platform he wants.

Very true on all points! And with some good ol' Syndrome humor too!

Based on color scheme, it's got to be 3 Racing. They already anodize everything pink for the Sakura.

Tom Yokobori did swing by the airport to pick him up IIRCC when he went to the ETS final...

Fun discussion for sure!

I would be very surprised to see him stray away from Japanese r/c manufactures. Home is where the heart is and I think he'll keep it in Japan.

Do you know of any top Japanese drivers that have switched to manufactures outside of Japan?

Although unlikely, 3racing is my favorite choice of where he could go.

Imagine all those pink flowers in the winners circle. :P

Ciccarello just donated 3 pints of blood, 2 pints of plasma, sold his lawnmower, his wife's car, and a broken record player to get Hara to run OnPoint for 3 months.

He tried to donate to the local fertility clinic to get Hara for an extra month, but the doctors told Chicky his DNA was only worth $16.50.

I think it will be about what the best opportunity is not where the car is made...

Xray would be smart to bring on Hara...he will elevate everyone on the team. He is a work horse and will take Xray to the next level. There are only a few drivers like him in the world historically. Right now he is the best all around driver in the world that has also worked on product development. Most of the top drivers are just hired guns...Hara does it all!

It is funny that we are trying to pretend like Xray is poor...They sell three or four times more TC kits (nitro and electric) than anyone else combined. If they are not making money then something is seriously wrong.
