So, now the good weather is back and it's time to get back to work on my track. I started over the winter moving dirt to make a "rough" track. Two reasons.. First, I wanted to see how my layout would hold up to rain and snow. Since its on a hillside, I knew drainage would be an issue. Second, I wanted a settled, solid base for my tabletop, banked turn, and a section I had to build up to level. The next couple weekends will be spent working my way around the track smoothing it. I still have to work on drainage some, I have a pretty bad "cut" across the track directly downhill from the tabletop. Photos soon.

The first pic is a pic of my updated track! I had a ton of grass on it, so I got my pops front end loader and cleared it off and started from scratch. The second pic is what it looked like before grass got overgrown on it. Then the 3rd pic is the track before I changed it again.
