2 speed tran easily worn out
Hi everyone,
I have a Kyosho V-one SII, and i just bought a 2 spd tran but it easily worn out, the plastic hook (triangular) inside the 40t spur gear for which the 2nd speed engages is totally messed, i put some epoxy to rebuild it, but for another try its just no use, so i have to rebuild it every now and then.
Does anyone knows a better technique to maintain this.
Thanks a lot.

I believe (or, I should say, I've been told) the v1s 2 speed is a bit of a hack. The good 2 speeds units use clutch shoes to engage 2nd gear..
If you can get a shoe system to fit I do not know...
Come on you Kyosho guys! - got help for him?
