Since I never seem to get a straight answer I'll ask here.
Based on the rules you have linked to:
2WD Chassis: All entries must be 2wd and rear wheel drive only. No straight axle cars are allowed. No front brakes allowed.
Does this mean that my direct drive Custom Works Enforcer sprint car is legal? Everyone keeps telling me no because of the lack of a transmission but the rules only state no straight axle cars.

What is the most popular sprint car?

B4 chassis with a Tekin RX8 & Pro4 4600 kv motor, an 1:8 tire on the right rear,a micro mini on the other side, high down force wing with one side hacked off, glue the hacked off side back on upsidedown and you need a 3 channel receiver and a 2nd servo for the rear steering.

Our BISW oval dates are planed to hit on KBRL offroad dates. We didn't figure there was much crossover racers based on the turnouts we have been getting. I apologize to those guys looking to run both If there is enough demand we can look at non conflicting dates for next year.
