As for Pit, I'm positive he's already Mugen / LRP decked out from head to toe before the cars even released.

I loved my Mugen MTX3, when I ran 1/10 way, way back in the day. So I know what Mugens are capable of.

I really do appreciate your honest replies to my questions.

Your an awesome driver and earned your title as our National Champion. Well deserved truly.

Try to make the Byrons race it's an amazing event, you would love the competition

*Btw is that LRP, OS based? That's what I'm getting, where is it made check the box.

Thanks and see you on the track soon, hopefully.
Yes the LRP engine is OS based with LRP specifications.

I will not be traveling any more this year, my work will only allow me so much time off. I will be finishing up the year running all the local races at GLARCRC here in LA. I do want to make it to the Byron's race I here from a lot of GT guys that it is a great time. Maybe next year I hope.

It looks like you and Pit are already signed up for the KO race. Looking forward to it!

Ryan,

I wish I had an answer to this question. All I know is very soon! I did see an article on red rc this morning. Still no official release dates at this time.

Questions?? New to GT8

So I'm planning on getting into 1/8 GT this reason. Coming from 1/8 off road buggy and truggy. How fitting this kit will be dropping soon and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Quick noob question. I'm researching power plants for this class but can't seem to find and solid starting points. Can you please point me to a thread where I can find some good reading or could you guys advise what's engines are popular to the class? I run novarossi in my off-road kits. Keep off 7, bonito and virtus are all currently in my arsenal. I was told that rally engines are being used over on road engines because of smoother power bands. I would definite appreciate any advise to point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

Ugh Not fine... If he plans on racing any ROAR / ROAR affiliated event or Series. Example SWCS in Texas is now enforcing the ROAR 5 port motor rule.

Most events are adopting the ROAR GT rules to streamline the events with the other classes.

Just to clarify: If anyone would like to run in this class for any of the ROAR sanction or ROAR affiliated events then he/she can run any engines UPTO 5 ports (you can run 3 port, 4 port, etc...) with the maximum 7mm venturi on the carburetor.

Looks like the pre-order is up on tower at almost $900. Very disappointing price point. Looks like a great car and I love Mugen but not sure it's worth 300 more than a serpent and over twice as much as the X3
