Im not sure how well it would work, but back in the day when we ran gear box on dirt oval or carpet, the losi arms always broke.. we use to boil water, then take it off the burner, then drop the arms in.. it gave the arms a bit more flex, and from what i was told the moisture soaked into them as well..

Here is an idea. Maybe a "Pro" driver chooses to run the car because it is the best car on market. Simple as that. But what do I know.
