Depends on the track or conditions you want to race in...Is the track tight and technical (cuz you'll want a smaller pinion), is the track wide open without tight turns (then you can get away with a bigger pinion) or are you just trying to racing the thing up & down the street trying to out run real cars (Then anything goes - but probably the bigger the pinion the better)??

Also depends on what motor you are running - i.e., 4900, 5400, 6800, 8000

Shoot a little more info over and there will be a ton of people who can help you out...

WHen I last ran my Half8, I ran a Mini-Rage system, with either the Tekin 6800 or an Aon 4900...but had a 12T pinion on mine with the stock spur gear..

Default Tekin Mini Rage vs. Quark33 Pro for Wraith7k

Which is a better esc for a Wraith 7k and 3s. Will the 2nd gen atomic ball diffs hold up?

You would want to go with a Quark 33 so it can handle the higher draw of the wraith 7k and the extra weight since the car is 1/16. I'm not sure about the atomic diffs though

Default Motor Fliped MIST

Here is my custom Mini Inferno ST with its motor flip on the stock chassis with a carbon fiber top plate so I'm able to use a Flat pack 2c 2100hv Lipo.

It came with a carbon fiber chassis I bought on e-bay. I didnt like the my my car handled with the CF so I just copied it on my factor chassis.
