nosram has a low forward rated current(140amps) to the lrp(238amps)

How exactly would you wire one of these caps in?
I have an old Tekin I would like to try this with.
Would Radio Shack have caps that would work well?

yeah Radio Shack will be fine. just go in and ask for high frequency, 10v working voltage and low impedance. and you pick your capacity.

you solder the positive leg of the capacitor the +ve end of your speed controller, and the negative to the negative. the grey stripe on the cap indicates negative leg. If no grey stripe, its usually marked.
