Yes they are extremely stiff....not the Tofu SSG. But the finish is still in Titanium!!

One strange thing though...I was filing the edges and the dust that comes off is grey and does not blacken your hands. This confused me a bit so I got some carbon loaded plastic pieces and filed a bit off....same thing....no black mess on the hands.

The material is not fibreglass.....because I've seen than stuff and it is really heavy......this stuff is as light as the black carbon fibre. Anyone know why it is different to normal graphite????

Looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure that I like how they milled the BMI racing, and Team BMI into the pieces... I'd propably flip them over myself...

it would look a hell a lot better if they havent milled that big fat ugly BMI logo, its like they have no funding thinking of a better logo! i would seriously just ditch that piece and have it copied!

I had reservations over that also. But in real life it does not look too bad. Would be difficult to flip because the upper face is countersunk......but I'm sure it would be no problems to order without the writing....Jason from BMI appears to be open to any modifications suggested....and it would cost less for him not to do the work!

The Xray chassis is quite nice because there are 0.5mm countersinks for the gearbox to bring the level of the gearbox back to the original chassis thickness.

They could afford spending some money on designing a better logo if they didn't waste money on the machine time required to mill the ugly one!

I noticed that the XRay chassis has a low CG, that's pretty cool, I actually did that to my Rayspeed chassis.

that's the bulkhead only, to keep the roll centre unchange.

roll centre does change if there is no recess area to keep the bulkhead the same height.
