From looking at the times the losi car is not that far off the top 10 pace. I do not think the xxxs prototype did real well at the worlds when it made its debut....and that car turned out to work pretty well. When was the last terrible race rc that Losi has put out?
If I remember it right, Jukka positioned himself at 13th after a threeway tie for 11th. But he was the only good Losi driver then, Spash ran a Yokomo and was not doing good, although all other Yoke's did.........

@SBH

I think you are correct.
But how do you know?
Well, he is one of Steen Graversen pals, so I guess he talked to him...

Double B mains are probably just a way to give more time between the A mains....

Sounds cool though....

First round of qualifying was underway and the last group (the fastest based on yesterday's timed practices/ the last top 10) would run in about one hour from now. Top 5 positioned from yesterday's practice time did not change as nobody improved...
Marc Rheinard finally run TB Evo4 instead of his regular TRF415

Default Change of heart....

Ya know, I've never been much of a Tamiya fan. But with what I've seen at my local track, the Reedy ROC and now here in the Worlds, they look to be on a roll!!!!

Always thought they were too expensive, but now most everything is headed that way and what other manufacturer offers several types of competitive cars?

Going to buy a new sedan at the end of the year...........hmmmm

TC's are ballistic on foams. But imagine how fast 12th scale would be if they still ran 6-cells.

they don't need 6 cells to be fast... but imagine if they only ran 4 cells for 5 mintues... now then they would be rocket ships compared to the touring cars...

They don't NEED 'em, but we used to do it back in the day, and I can only imagine how fast they'd be with today's motor and battery technology.

out here in NJ we run Foam on Touring cars all year round, Its not that its tons faster...it is faster, the thing is your lap times dont fall off as much as when you run rubber....i personally got 4-8 runs out of cs27's with only a marginal drop off. but with foams you will get no drop off. they just cost more to run.

latest news from www.tq-racing.com :
Oct 29 00:20 GMT+7
From the last group, the fastest qualifying group, round 1:

Marc Rheinard was very fast. He was the only guy who could take the sweeper faster than anybody else.
Masami only managed to hold on 2 nd place while third and fourth place was either between Surikarn and Atsushi, as it was not so clear yet. Only these top four drivers managed to post 24laps (the rests were 23).

The track was very hot today , making it a bit slower. Billy Easton was very fast but had some trouble ending up in 9 th. Barry Baker also had some problem and ended up in 8th.

Another two more round of qualifying for today....

Marc is driving the 415 and not the Evo 4 that's what his broder told who had Marc on the phone so no EVO 4 for Marc.

Keeping fingers crossed for Marc and Tamiya.

Already before the worlds Marc said he would be running the 415. I think with the LW suspension as he did this at the nationals also.
