Track is located at 353 Highland Dr, Kamloops. Head to the back of the arena.

The event signup is available on Online registration for R/C Car Races in the United States and around the World - RCSignup.com under "Summer Classic". Look under Events or Tracks (Canada). Payment (cash) will be made at the track.

ENTRY FEES FOR TROPHY CLASSES
1st CLASS $35.00, 2nd CLASS $25.00, 3rd class $15.00 ($10 for classes additional)
*NOVICE ENTRY = $20.00


Payment can be made trackside(cash only). If you need other means, please PM me (ie USA racers)

- All 1/10th scale classes will have 6mins Qualifiers and Mains. Triple A Mains
- 1/8th e Classes will have 10mins Triple A Mains, 7mins Lower mains
- 1/8th Nitro will have 6mins Qualifiers, 30mins Single A mains, 20mins B's and 10Mins for remaining Mains. There will be 2 Bumps from lower Nitro Mains.
- 8+2 car mains.

- SELF TECH, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TECH SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES

- we do request that all Nitro vehicles have a Throttle Return Device for Safety purposes. This is a "Go, No Go" item. Vehicles found without TRD, will not be allowed to run.

- POWER AVAILABLE, bring extension cords.
- washroom, and running water available.

CAMPING
Confirming what the City will allow us at this location. In the past, we have been able to accommodate a few trailers and tents, but we need to reconfirm with the City. Will confirm shortly.

If we do have camping:
- NO Water/Sewer Hook Ups & NO CAMP FIRES ALLOWED
- Need to reserve ahead with size of trailer
- Very limited space for trailers and we will encourage anyone wanting to bring a trailer to arrive early....access will become an issue as we setup.
$10 fee per person

CONCESSION
No concession onsite, but we do hope to have some special offers from the local restaurants (Dominos and McDonalds). More to come.

Otherwise, the usual fast food places aren't far at all.

Just want to confirm that practice starts at 3pm?

Gary - probably let everyone have at the track sooner than that. Just had to pick a time. There is no fence or gate at the facility. So someone could honestly practice all week if they wanted.

We will firm up the times as we get a bit closer.

So it's 12pm? I want to confirm as I typically don't schedule any work stuff on Fridays for 3 day races... i don't to do that if practice ends up being 3... although I think earlier in the day makes sense... it's the practice day

I've been running the NCT and WORS and definitely excited to run this race!

The track will be open Saturday morning. Just waiting for the pre-registrations before posting a "firm" schedule for the weekend.

That said, baring any major maintenance/repair issues, the track will be open for about an hour before Driver's Meeting.

Here is the 2017 Summer Classic event banner, this will be an fun weekend under the sun!

The TVR/C crew has done an amazing job rebuilding the entire off-road facility and it looks like there will be a huge turnout of racers!

We will be installing a covered drivers stand to keep the racers cool and tents set up near the track so the next qualifying racers can prepare and keep the program running quickly.

Please help out the Race Director by getting over to RCSIGNUP.COM and registering for this event.

Update:

We will be able to support some campers at the Track.

Trailers-

We have some spots available on the track side of the Arena. Please message us with dimensions of your trailer. We recommend you arrive early. We can provide 120v to plug into, but if trailer draw begins to affect power for racing activities, we will want to shed some load during the day.

There will be overflow trailer space at the front of the arena. Anything over 25ft will need to park out front.

There is no water/sewer hookups. You will need to be self sufficient.

Please bring wood blocks for trailer jacks. No blocks, no trailer. You will be setup on our Onroad track so need to protect the surface.

Tenters

There are some grassy areas around the onroad track that people have used for tenting before.

Please PM with confirmation that you will be staying onsite.
