I like the novarossi stuff or kyosho.
Recently I tried some dubro red and it seems nice, don't know how it will hold up in the long run, time will tell

I would say because you can see the fuel and air bubbles if any

Venom made the best fuel tube ever. It has been discontinued but you can find rolls on eBay. Very thick, very flexible, does not fold on itself, inner diameter has a nice tight pinch on the nipples and its thick so it seals very well inside clunk tanks and flops around in there like a wet noodle. Last time I found some on eBay I bought 3 rolls. I should be set for life!
