Just check your chassis. If you find one end is not as scratched from hitting the ground, you can probably go lower on that end. Some tracks you run even front/rear heights, other tracks you may have to run higher rear.

Set ride height on blank rims. I set mine 1.0mm front, and 1.5mm rear.

It is std advice for 1st step? Just asking, no offence.
It looks like RH depend then on foam on tires (normal for me).
What diameter of foams then you start?
In my case I set (compute for blank 50mm rims) I did usually 1.5mm front, 2.0-2.5 rear. Maybe this is wrong ... for me because last time I lowered 1mm overall RH on my car (60/62.3) tires and car was slighty better
Just need to compare some infos in my head.

Actually the V10 Pro was released in 2013 and is also available als a 2014-version with some very minor changes. Since the release of the original V10, there has been a new version with some changes every year, where the introduction of the V10 Pro was by far the biggest change. When you look at the setup-sheets in the download section Team Shepherd Downloads you can find the setup of Patrick Shaefer that he used for the 2014 Euros. On that setup sheet it has been noted that he was running a new servo saver prototype and a new chassis plate prototype. I would not be surprised if there was going to be a 2015 edition (or a world championship edition should they win the world championship this year).
The reason I have investigated in detail is that I am considering a move from the Serpent 733 to the V10 Pro. So I would certainly be interested in information from a reliable source.

I also have 2 733's somewhere in the attic, lol.
I am interested as well in driving the V10 in 2015 ...
Any reliable source here to confirm a new car is coming ?

Hey guys,
nice to see that you are interested in the Velox V10.
Indeed I used a new servo saver prototype part and a chassis plate from a different material which both worked very good in Valencia. We have already put them into production and they will be available soon.
For the 2015 version these two items will make it into the kit, probably the light weight gear shaft as well.
Other big changes are not planned at the moment as the current version works really good (maybe we update some minor parts).
Best regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Very cool to see you are so open about the development of the product. That is not so common, thanks! I usually buy two kits at once (to have a spare part for everything) but in this case I might consider getting a single 2014 kit so that I can race it in the last one or two races of this season and then get a 2015 when it becomes available, without risking incompatibility of the parts. That way I would already be familiar with the platform when the 2015 season starts.

Great to see you are so open indeed !
This makes it only easier for us to choose the Velox V10.
Now the question is, when will the new kit be available ?
