Any thoughts on this new car from Kyosho? I'm thinking of getting it. What engine would be best for it and what class would it race in?

Way change the motor? Run the car in the IGT spec class

First off try the serch button you porbably had your question answered already. Second most clubs are running these cars as a spec class. Third really the way the cars handle unless your one hell of a driver the stock motor is all you need for power wise. The rest of the power would be wheel spin.

Also how can people tell you what engine to get for it if the car has not been relaesed.

The IGT Corvette should be awsome right out of the box. Many tracks are racing IGT's as a spec class and if you want to do that you need to use the motor which comes in the kit (which is plenty fast). If you want to race it you may want to get the sway bar kits and some aftermarket tires.

IGT's can be a lot of fun!!

Try to listen to what these guys are telling you.

We’ve been racing the Kyosho Inferno GT for a while.

The car is well balanced, with a few upgrades, it makes for a competitive racer. The factory engine works fine, I’d suggest running it with 16% - 20% fuel in it.

These days I think most tracks running them in “Spec” class are allowing any of the factory options in your owners manual, at least that’s what we’re doing down in Florida. We're also cool with any body or rubber tires.

The funny thing about it all is, a lot of times a well set-up “Spec” car will beat a modified car on a race track.

I’m sure everyone of us “Spec” racers can agree with that, right guys?
