i hit a wall at a big race at about 5-10 mph i lose my stearing servo. so i send them in to hitec. so i get my 7955tg servo back and i dont get a new onethey fixed it but eveyone one else i have seen on rctech got new ones. it's funny cause here is what i broke: i think i got a lemon!!!
broken center gearshaft
damaged motor
damaged metal gears

seems like i should have got a new one! let me know rctech if you got new ones or they just fixed them.

I have had one replaced and one repaired. Doesnt really matter, as long as they fix it quikly and honor thier awesome warrenty, im good with it.

I have sent in several 7955's and had a mix. The ones I just got back were just repairs. If they fix them they will work like new. They just don't look as pretty when they don't come in the new box and the case isn't all perfect.

Alot of times the people that get brand new 7955s, sent in servos that were discontinued. Such as the 59## line. Yours were not replaced most likely because they could be fixed and parts are still being produced.

I sent in 2 5955's a few weeks ago and they just repaired and sent back. Fine with me long as they worrk good and they did just fine.

yes there under a warranty. no big deal just wanted to know what everyone experience was like.

I have only had to send 1 servo back a 7965 it went out after 2 race days it didn't make it through the second race day. I wnt it back and they replaced it with a new servo but there was also a lot wrong with it. Either way as long as the servo works which hitec makes sure they always do then new or repaired idk. Hitec has a great warranty and fast service no complaints here.

Ive been wishing my 5955s would die so I could get new ones under warranty but they keep going...I guess thats a good thing though.
