Default Tire Wear

Josh is right in the tire wear. For the Xray/nt1 in 15min main I rain 42rears , 40 fronts. I started with 60.2 mm rears and 58.5 fronts. End of the 15min main race, 56.5mm rears and 56.4 fronts. Barely had enough tire to finish. I imagine tire wear will come down some, but it was a bit higher than previous years. Traction was really high. Higher than it's been all year.

I pitted for Aaron in the main, and after 15mins he had tires the size of sedan tires. I don't know what he started with. I think he was kinda surprised at the wear as well.

Aaron and I did wear alot in the 15 minute main in 1/8th. But I was told I was driving like an idiot (driving too hard), right Josh, LOL

Aaron wore 13 mm off his left rear and I wore 9mm off the left rear. We both started with 74mm. His car was completely on the ground with no suspension, I had about 2mm of ride height.

Tire wear was high but like Josh mentioned they will be spraying again on Tuesday to help with the wear. There was plenty of traction this weekend and should be more come GLC time!

See everyone there!!!!

I also made a couple of changes to my car that contributed to the higher than normal tire wear. I suspect my wear could/should have been better, that track was the fastest it had been all year.

I would assume that people will want 42 or 45 rears... and 40 or 42 fronts...

I will take 2 boxes of 40 fronts... Maybe some rears also...
