Happy to announce ACTMCRC will be hosting the 3rd round of the XRS Series. We will be hosting this round on our ETS carpet with control traction compound and rubber tires.

Round : May 27-28th, 2017. ACTMCRC. Fitzroy Building, Exhibition Park, Canberra

- Saturday practice from 10am - (TBC)
- Sunday 3 x Rounds qualifying , Triple A Mains. Single lower mains.


Sunday morning practice prior to racing is highly likely, Practice times for Sunday morning plus the morning start time for racing will be announced in the days leading up to the event and will depend on the number of entrants and the ability to finish the race meet at a decent time in the afternoon.

Fees: First class - $35, additional classes $15. Junior/Novice Class $15.

Classes:
- EP Touring Junior/Novice 21.5 (under 16yrs or novice less than 2 meetings experience. Control tyres 1 set, control spec motor)
- EP Touring 21.5 (Control tyres 1 set, control spec motor)
- EP Touring 13.5 (Control tyres 1 set, control spec motor)
- EP Touring Modified (Control tyres 1 set)
- 12th Scale Euro Stock 10.5 Blinky
- 12th Scale Modified
- Minimum 6 entrants required for all classes except Junior/Novice.


EP Touring Tyres 1 SET MAX - Volante 28R CP
$40.00 per set. Tires will be distributed on race day. Practice tires will be available for purchase at the track.

Control traction compound will be Hudy Carpet gripper. There will be a station where all racers must apply traction compound. If anyone is found to be using another traction compound (CHEATING), I will point you out, then name and shame you, I have no issues with this.

With this there will be a control brake cleaner for purchase at the track. This round is slightly different to others as we have to look after the carpet and use the same products.

Junior/Novice, EP Touring 21.5 and 13.5 classes are to run controlled motors for each round. Drivers are able to purchase motors on the day or from RC Hobby Shop Sydney - Australian Hobby Store or R/C Hobbyland - Sydney's premier Online Hobby Shop. Drivers are also able to hire motors for the days event and return once finished. Hire motors damaged during use are to be charged out at the full purchase price.

Friday night 26th May, ACTMCRC will be having a cub night on the ETS carpet. Figured since we have it we may as well use it, plus it will help bed the carpet in for the weekend. I will update starting time in the next day or so. Practice tires will be available for purchase on Friday night.

Alex i've scoured the XRS rules and posts and cant find anything specific in relation to cross entry of TC classes.
Given i'm considering the trip from Melbourne, and F1/VTA/GT classes arent on offer, i'd rather maximise my track time with entries in both 13.5 and 21.5 if allowed.
Can you let me know please?

Due to it being a one day event we had to limit the classes we race. As for cross entry you are allowed to cross enter TC classes.
