Cool RADIO? WICH ONE

I run a Spektrum DX2.o 2.4ghx Dsm radio right now. I have just got my hands on a Futaba Fasst 3pm S.S. 2.4ghz.
My ? is do i keep the one i'm running or do i use the new one. I don't want to take the Futaba out of the box just to try it with out hearing some other peopls opinions. Cuse if there the same i would just sell one.
Thanks
Mason

I used to have the Spektrum DX3.0 (similar to the 2.0) and now a Futaba 3PK Fasst.

Here's my opinion on Spektrum

1) Much lighter
2) Uses less power. I can prolong the life of the batts with the Spektrum about 50% more
3) Antenna is BAD. it's way too fragile and I hope Spektrum does something about it
4) Generally a basher's controller

Here's my opinion on the Futaba 3PK. (should be similar to the 3PM)

1) Way much more features. I like the timer and idle function
2) Better response even on PPM mode
3) Exponential function is graphical.
4) Steering wheel is smaller and has more feel towards the handling of the car

Keep the Futaba controller. There are so many features to make it more enjoyable with this hobby.

If you're gonna be racing, I think the 3PM would be the way to go because it has Exponential adjustment. I don't think the 2.0 does? I was fiddling with a buddy's 2.0 and couldn't find the expo function to save my life...

What about this one. Do you guys think this one will be good. I'm waiting on it. I was going to buy the Futaba.

It looks lighter than any of the others and smaller. I hear its coming late October.?

The DX3R does look very cool. I think spektrum makes good affordable radios. I'm just not too sure about the antenna.

Frankly, on my DX3.0, no longer than 3 months. I sold it away because the antenna was getting on my nerves

i didn't fall over. The whole thing just came off. you could just plug it back and pull it off. Also, I had problems with the button at the grip. It wasn't even working properly. I could increase the setting but not reduce it.

What is the difference from your 3PK to my 3PM?

No, since the 3PM doesn't have removable modules. But you can buy a 3PM that is 2.4 ghz. Some people think it's the best value out there. Here's a link:
